The dust removal process performed in the Venturi wet dust collector can be divided into three processes: atomization, condensation and defogging. The first two processes are performed in the Venturi tube, and the latter process is completed in the drip trap. The venturi tube consists of a constriction tube, a throat tube, a water spray device and a diffusion tube. The relative flow velocity of the gas-liquid two-phase in the shrink tube and the throat is very large, and the droplets ejected from the nozzle are further atomized into finer mist under the impact of the high-speed air flow. At the same time, the gas is completely saturated with water, and the gas film attached to the surface of the dust particles is broken, so that the dust particles are wetted with water.

The flue gas pretreated by the venturi tube is tangentially introduced into the lower part of the trap. In the trap, due to the violent rotary motion, the dust and ash water droplets are thrown to the trap of the trap by the centrifugal force. The water film on the wall is attached, and flows into the lower ash hopper with the water film. The purified flue gas is discharged from the upper part of the drip trap and sent to the chimney through the induced draft fan.

In order to obtain high dust removal efficiency, wet dust collectors must cause relatively high gas-liquid relative movement speed and very small droplets. Venturi tubes were developed and used to meet this requirement.

Product Principle

The first two steps are performed in the venturi tube, and the latter step is completed in the dehydrator. After the dust-containing gas enters the constriction tube from the air inlet pipe, the flow velocity gradually increases, and the gas flow velocity of the throat pipe reaches the maximum value. The relative flow rate between gas and liquid phases in the constriction tube is large. Water droplets sprayed from the nozzle are atomized under the impact of high-speed airflow, and energy is provided by the high-speed airflow.

At the throat, the gas and water are in full contact and reach saturation, and the gas film attached to the surface of the dust particles is broken, so that the dust particles are wetted with water and intense aggregation occurs. In the diffusion tube, the air velocity decreases, the pressure rises, and the dust particles are used as the condensation nodules to complete the condensation, which condenses into larger dust-containing water droplets, which is easier to be captured. After the large-diameter dust-containing water droplets enter the dehydrator, under the action of gravity and centrifugal force, the clean gas is separated from the water and dust to achieve the purpose of cooling and dust removal.
